Honolulu Rail Project Information As part of the ongoing Honolulu rail project, HART will be constructing the Kuloloia (Downtown) transit station at the makai end of Pacific Guardian Center (PGC) near Nimitz Highway. A portion of PGC's courtyard has been acquired by the City & County of Honolulu through the eminent domain process to accommodate construction of the station and provide pedestrian access to and from the station. HART will be constructing on approximately 3,734 square feet of the plaza courtyard directly adjacent to Nimitz Highway and will temporarily utilize an additional approximately 2,975 square feet of courtyard area for construction activities.
